My name is Nicole Elizabeth Anderson, aka Scooby, Nickie, or Nic, depending on who’s talking to me. I am embracing all of me in the time I have left on this earth. I am Elizabeth.

My niece asked about my big dreams today. She mentioned one of hers is to travel the world. I concurred and added the desire to publish this blog with my travel adventures and photos, to copyright and license a few jingles I have written, and to engage my community by teaching and/or “journalism” among many other goals on my list of things to do with the rest of my life at 53 and beyond. So here is the first blog entry I committed to in that moment. My photos that I took on my morning lakefront walk with my buddy JJ (our miniature poodle) haven’t uploaded from my camera roll to my synchronized personal OneDrive yet, so I consider this incomplete. But I have started . . .

These initial photos may seem random but this is where my head is today.
They were actually taken a few weeks ago. My car needs a repair service that prevents me from passing an emissions test needed for vehicle registration in Milwaukee County so I’ve been shopping for a more recent vehicle that is new to me. I’ve been down this road before but I have decided to give the Volkswagen Touareg another round in my life. It is such a great car although my first required as much investment in repairs as I paid for the car. I consider this car a classic as it is not even made/delivered in the USA anymore. Just waiting for the powers that be to dot the final i’s and cross the final t’s. Maybe tomorrow I’ll get the keys!
